In my lessons I love to teach yoga through the light of embodiment, guiding my students to experience the positions first organically so that the external form of each asana is the expression of those experiencing it internally. This opens the way for liberation from patterns that cause pain and discomfort and gradually leads to a healthy and well-balanced yoga practice that is constantly evolving.
I emphasize prana which is inextricably linked to breathing to awaken the body and mind. Let us lead the changes that will transform our lives by finding meaning in freedom of movement and breathing, not in the empty mold of a “properly aligned” position.
I honor different bodies, needs and injuries with direct guidance to each student individually combining yoga and somatics practices.
My goal is for every person to feel full and well, whatever their potential.
