Wake up your mental & physical strength & balance
“The mind is like the wind and the body like the sand: if you want to know how the wind is blowing , you can look at the sand.”
Angeliki was born and raised in Zakynthos island. During adolescence she lived in Athens and a few years later she moved to Turin city in Italy, where she made heartfelt friendships, learned the most musical language and gained her diploma as a travel agent. In 2002 she returned to Greece and started working in the travel industry, only to leave her job in 2008, after getting her first certification as a Yoga Instructor.
Since then her purpose is to offer her students the tools to enjoy a constantly deep connection with their body and mind, emotions and spirit – so they live to their full potential, vibrant of health and love. In order to achieve this, her classes integrate yoga, somatics, embodiment and contemplative practices.
Also, Angeliki is an Infant Developmental Movement Educator (IDME) from the School of Body Mind Centering, a perinatal yoga teacher and offers therapeutic bodywork sessions.
She leads Yoga Teacher Trainings in Athens and Zakynthos and offers educational workshops for yoga teachers or committed students.
She is the coordinator of seminars aiming towards health improvement, management of trauma and chronic pain through conscious movement.
The trainings she has attended include a variety of studies in Yoga, Somatics and Embodiment, Anatomy and Physiology, Meditation and Yoga Philosophy with Richard Freeman, Mary Taylor, Eddie Stern, Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, Amy Matthews, Lisa Clark, Annie Carpenter, Dharma Mittra, Edwin Bergman, Kathryn Budig, Tiffany Cruickshank, Tara Judelle Matthew Sweeney, Paddy McGrath, among others.
Her commitment to help others improve their lives is being ignited by her curiosity and thirst to explore the body and mind connection. She is a passionate advocate of animals, loves travelling and babies of all ages.
